HGD is a woman owned small business founded by Raquan Hall and Damien Hall.  After an accumulation of more than 30+ years of professional facility engineering, project management and financial administration experience in both public and private industry, Raquan Hall and Damien Hall formed Hall Group Design Engineering Firm LLC. 

 

HGD specializes in facility engineering.  Our goal is to be one of the nation’s leading experts in the field of facility engineering design.  With the advancement of technology over the past decade and its effects on our lifestyle, the integrity and safety of the facilities we occupy have evolved to national importance.  In a Presidential Proclamation, former President Obama stated, "Resilient infrastructure is essential to an America built to last".  HGD places high value on the style and structure of facilities because we understand it enables all of our lifestyles to perform daily activities with ease and in comfort.  HGD integrates the use of economical but sustainable and high performance building designs in our projects. We analyze mechanical and electrical systems for building efficiencies and lower life cycle costs. We ensure structural and fire protection requirements are met for the safety and durability of buildings to withstand natural disasters.

FOUNDING PARTNERS

                

Raquan (Quan) Hall is the CEO and Managing Partner of HGD.  She is a graduate of Howard University, Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a licensed Professional Engineer specializing in mechanical thermal and fluid systems. Quan has more than 15+ years of facility engineering experience with high expertise in Federal Government contracting.  She has led and  managed $2 Billion of design and construction projects throughout her career with the Department  of Defense, both locally and overseas.  Quan has received numerous recognition and awards for the quality support she's provided within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry over the years, to include the program planning for designing and construction of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarter complex in Guam; And executive program management support for construction of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center BRAC project in Bethesda, MD. During her time as a civilian engineer, Quan led the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Project Management Office in Washington, DC and was responsible for providing facility engineering training, policy guidance and developing engineering resources to staff architects and engineers.  As the CEO and Managing Partner of HGD, Quan brings a wealth of experience to the HGD team.

Damien Hall is the Co-Founder of HGD.  He is a graduate of The Citadel, a prestigious military college in South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Damien specializes in financial administration and is a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM). He has more than 15+ years of accounting experience, to include 6-years of civilian federal experience as a financial program analyst, providing programming and accounting support to Department of Defense installation commands overseas and within the DC-MD-VA region. Prior to working for the Navy, Damien worked as a Senior Accountant for E*TRADE and Staff Accountant at British Telecom.
