Business Development Officer (Contractor to Permanent Position)

Hall Group Design Engineering Firm LLC (HGD), Alexandria, VA

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Attend pre and post proposal meeting

• Identify and pursue partnering and networking opportunities

• Conduct interviews and support hiring process of new personnel

• Identify applicable associations and communities for membership and participation

• Identify and develop industry award packages

• Seek training opportunities for personal and staff development

• Prepare and conduct briefings to internal and external senior partners

Basic Qualifications:

• College degree in Business

• Requires at least one year of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge and experience in research tools and techniques

• Ability to analyze data and research results

• Excellent organizational skills to address complex issues

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office suite

• Summer interns welcomed for high school seniors and college students pursuing a business degree only
